The size and range of antiques featured in our monthly sales has attracted buyers from across both national and international markets for many years, and we specialise in providing expert valuations and auction services, including probate and insurance valuations, and house clearances.
Historically based in the heart of the Potteries, we’re also ideally located for drawing in fine pottery and porcelain that has been made in the local area, including 18th, 19th and 20th-century ceramics and collectable antiques that have a rich history of local interest.
We pride ourselves on our level of care and customer service, and offer a range of extra services, such as in-house packing, to ensure that any items that need to be shipped across the UK or internationally are packaged carefully and skilfully by experienced packers to avoid any in-transit damage.
Find more details about the auction valuation services we provide and our weekly valuation days on the Valuations section of our website, where you can find out where and when to bring your items, or how to submit an online valuation if you’re unable to attend in person.
We hold at least one auction per month, with our special Fine Art auctions taking place at our Silverdale Saleroom every March, July and November. If you’re looking for more information on our Fine Art and Antiques auctions, including dates, how to submit lots for entry or tips on how to buy and sell at auction with Louis Taylor, then head to our Auctions page.
Alternatively, you can contact us on 01782 638100 to speak to one of our expert valuers if you would like to arrange a house call for full house clearances or for transporting large, immovable or valuable items.
